We are looking for potential applicants for Junior, Assistant, Associate and Senior Water Infrastructure Civil Engineer positions, to be based out of our Truckee, CA office.
This full-time position, in a Junior or Assistant level, will have an hourly pay rate range between $37.00 - $43.00 per hour, and for an Associate level the pay rate range will be between $44.00 -$55.00 per hour. In your first six months, you’ll evaluate and design small- to large-scale water utility infrastructure projects throughout California, in collaboration with senior staff and principal engineers. This will include preparation of drawings (AutoCAD), specifications, and cost estimates. Your role will also include conducting field investigations, providing construction support services, writing technical reports, completing hydrologic calculations and models, and coordinating projects. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and use GIS and modeling software.
Long-term, you’ll manage projects, perform as lead design engineer, and assist and mentor junior engineers. You’ll learn (or apply your experience) to rehabilitate and replace pipeline and pump station infrastructure. With exposure to a wide range of projects, including asset management, hydrologic modeling, channel restoration, and infrastructure design, you’ll have the opportunity to manage a broad portfolio of interesting work supporting a multitude of clients.
